Why Merage JCCOC Youth Basketball?
NEW- 12:15 Basketball Clinic on Sundays before games for Rookie Division. Taught by JCCOC Basketball Specialist, Kenny Nash. Kenny will also be attending team practices for every division to make sure players are learning the proper skills and fundamentals needed to succeed.
- Anyone in Orange County can participate (must be member of Merage JCCOC).
- Open to grades K-8 (co-ed)
- Evaluations Start in October
- Coaches Training/Team Assignment October 26th
- Practice Starts November 3rd
- Season November 2008-February 2009
- All practices are held at Merage JCCOC
- All Games @ (Merage JCCOC and TBD)
- Sunday Only Games (Between 12pm-6pm)
- ReversableUniform included
- Eight-Ten Players Per Team Maximum
- Five 8 Minute Periods Per Game or (2) 20-Minute Halfs
- Players Participate Equally Throughout Game
- One-Two NJB Approved Referees Per Game
- One practice Per Week (team, clinic, or fundamentals)
- Winter League Cost $200 Per Player (not including Merage JCC dues)

as they dribble around campus
raising money for pediatric
cancer research and treatment
of children with cancer. Enjoy
a fun-filled family day meeting
coach Ben Howland and the
UCLA basketball players as
well as other UCLA student-
athletes. Proceeds benefit the
Pediatric Cancer Research
Foundation and UCLA
Mattel Children’s Hospital.
